Having issues? Here are solutions to common installation problems.
β’ Attachment band won't stay tight
Rezzo VisorMake sure the adjustment strap is fully tightened using your thumb as leverage. For rounded helmets without a rear hook, use the included friction tube to grip the helmet surface.
β’ Hook and loop fasteners don't hold
All productsInspect the fasteners for lint, dirt, or wear. Clean them gently or replace if worn. Always press firmly across the full surface when attaching. If fasteners no longer grip, discontinue use and contact us.
β’ Brim obstructs vision
All productsReinstall the brim at a higher angle or reposition it further back on the helmet. Check your peripheral vision by looking up, down, and side to side. If vision remains obstructed, the brim may not be compatible with your helmet.
β’ Brim catches wind at speed
Cycling brimsEnsure a gap of at least half an inch (12mm) between the bill and attachment band to relieve air pressure. The Sporty model is wind-tested to 35 mph and the Classic to 25 mph. Consider a lower-profile option for high-speed road cycling.
β’ Da Brim won't fit my helmet visor
Equestrian brimsFor equestrian helmets with a non-removable visor longer than 1 inch, use the pocket method (slide the brim over the visor). For flush-front helmets or removable visors, use the hook and loop strip method. See your product guide for details.
β’ Brim feels loose or detaches
All productsPull upward on the centre front of the brim to test. The assembly should not be loose or detach. Ensure the attachment band wraps around the helmet contours and sits below the front surface. Tighten all straps and re-secure fasteners.
