Which product suits my child’s age?
For younger children with small helmets, the Kids Treadley Helmet Hat fits over the helmet and covers face, ears and neck. For older kids whose helmet measures 66 cm or more, the Sporty Cycling or Equest Petite brims fit properly.
How do I measure my child’s helmet?
Wrap a soft tape measure around the outside of the helmet at its widest point. If it measures 66 cm or more, the Sporty Cycling or Equest Petite brims will fit.
Can my child put it on by themselves?
The Kids Treadley simply pulls over the helmet like a hat, and most kids pick it up quickly. The Sporty and Petite brims use strap systems that older kids can learn to attach independently.
Will it stay on while riding?
Yes. All products are designed with secure attachment systems that stay put during active play, cycling and horse riding, even in wind.
Is the Kids Treadley just for cycling?
No, it works on almost any small helmet. It’s great for scooters, balance bikes, skateboarding and general outdoor play.
