For younger children with small helmets, the Kids Treadley Helmet Hat fits over the helmet and covers face, ears and neck. For older kids whose helmets measure 66 cm or more around the outside, the Da Brim Sporty Cycling or Equestrian Petite brims provide a secure, adult-quality fit.
How do I measure my child's helmet?
Wrap a soft tape measure around the outside of the helmet at its widest point (roughly where the brim would sit). If it measures 66 cm or more, the Sporty Cycling or Equestrian Petite brims will fit. If smaller, choose the Kids Treadley.
Can my child put it on by themselves?
The Kids Treadley simply pulls over the helmet like a hat — most kids pick it up quickly. The Sporty and Petite brims use strap systems that older children can learn to attach independently after a couple of tries.
Will it stay on while riding?
Yes. All products are designed with secure attachment systems that stay put during active play, cycling and horse riding — even in wind.
Is the Kids Treadley just for cycling?
