Meet the DaBrim Helmet Brim
A durable, detachable helmet brim that can be installed in seconds and lasts for years! Stay out of the sun & protect yourself from Magpies with one product.
As seen in:
Recently my wife and I went on the Brisbane Valley rail trail and cut the trip short due to many magpie attacks. We ran across another couple who had Da Brim and recommended them. We headed home and ordered Two of the sporty versions and once received went back. This time while attacked by maggies we could just keep cycling without worry and also enjoy the protection from the sun. Great addition to our cycling. Cheers Peter
I've worn the Da Brim once and was stopped by 2 different people asking where to get them. So I think you'll be getting a few more orders. Great quality and fast postage. :) :) :)
I bought this for my husband after wearing one for a couple of years. We are currently riding on the BVRT, and not only it provides much needed shade but it has helped keep those magpies away. They swoop but don't attack! Yeah!
I’ve now bought 2 Sun Brims, the offer outstanding sun protection and living in Australia that is very important, it also protects from magpie and other birds that attack and strike my helmet while riding on the rail trails, September to November is magpie season and I won’t leave home without it.
They look great for Summer

Keeping You Safe from UV
Every day, four Australians lose their lives to melanoma, a stark reminder of the ever-growing threat this aggressive form of skin cancer poses. Unfortunately, these alarming statistics are on the rise, driven by increasing temperatures and soaring UV indexes that intensify our exposure to harmful sun rays. As the climate continues to change and the sun’s intensity becomes even more unforgiving, it’s crucial that we take proactive steps to protect ourselves. Staying out of the sun is no longer just a recommendation; it’s a necessary measure for preserving our health and well-being. From wearing protective clothing and broad-brimmed hats to seeking shade and applying high-SPF sunscreen, we must make sun safety a priority in our daily lives to combat this silent but deadly threat.

August to October: Magpie Season is Here
Magpies swoop cyclists primarily as a defensive behavior during their breeding season, which typically occurs between late August and early October in Australia. During this time, magpies become highly protective of their nests and young, perceiving any potential threat as a danger to their offspring. Cyclists, who move quickly and often unpredictably through a magpie’s territory, are seen as such threats.
